The sun is shining, summer is coming: it’s time for the happiest 5k on the planet! Saturday 31 May 2014 the first edition of the Color Run 2014 took place and M2 Printing handled all signage.
No less than 130 beach flags, 550 m2 of front-lit and mesh cloth, and many forex panels decorated the joyful running event. Because of the large amount of materials and the short delivery time, the printers were running evenings on end, the seamstresses worked overtime and we hired extra couriers, but the result was fantastic.
The Color Run™ isn’t about running the best time, but about being healthy and social in a fun way. Every kilometre point has a ‘Color Station’, each with its own colour and of course with music! All Color Runners are coated in coloured powder, and after running, dancing, frolicking or walking the 5 kilometres everyone is welcomed as a hero. It is then that the party erupts with fun DJs!
